With a background in industrial design, Pierre-François likes to design objects that are simple in terms of design and use. Very sensitive to techniques, he builds valuable relationships with manufacturers to develop the best manufacturing methods.
His time in Finland left its mark on his sensitivity to natural materials and clean lines. Having studied at several design schools (Boulle, Olivier de Serres, Aalto University, Ensci), he developed his skills in both the creation of objects and furniture and the design of spaces. Pierre François Dubois joined Hartô in 2013 to take over as artistic director for a few years. He is one of the designers behind the brand's first pieces, which have now become iconic.
